AYUSH for Future Health Challenges: Strengthening Trans-disciplinary Research

Considering the present and future health challenges, AYUSH researchers need to keep pace with the advancing research. The interaction with various knowledge disciplines can provide a rich academic ambience to nurture ideas and thoughts. The conference addressed these needs by aiming at capacity building and creating a global network for research in the areas of AYUSH, natural products, integrative health, mind-body medicine, and public health.

The conference was held to throw light on different AYUSH related activities. Different topics like grant writing for AYUSH projects, AYUSH-based therapeutic adjuvants for cancer, AYUSH biology, AYUSH informatics and data science, AYUSH and epidemiology were thoroughly discussed. The three days conference was divided into different sessions focusing on developing the network for the research area of AYUSH and related fields. The conference report is published in the Journal of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine.

Creating Conducive Environment for Ayurveda Research

India has a rich heritage of renowned knowledge institutes of research and innovation. It is time to learn from the experiences of visionaries who have built such institutions and share the success stories of the AYUSH sector. The success of an institution lies not only in its infrastructure and facilities, but also needs an encouraging environment that helps nurture research ideas. To facilitate the thought process, the CoE has organised its second edition on the theme 'Creating Conducive Environment for Ayurveda Research'. The conference report is published in the Journal of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine.

AYUSH Research for New India: Vision and Strategies

Be a beginner or an experienced researcher, scientific writing is not easy for both. Apart from format, structure and grammar, there are certain ethical principles to be followed. This symposium was aimed at creating awareness about publication ethics, predatory journals and research integrity. The symposium was mainly organised for postgraduate faculty and researchers from biomedicine, health sciences, and AYUSH systems. It provided the participants with an opportunity to learn and interact with eminent international scientists and editors known for their contribution in scientific publication.
