As a translational research scientist I always strive for new challenges every-day and strongly promote integrative research. I completed my Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmacology and Toxicology- A role of PK-PD differences in diabetes and healthy conditions: A step towards personalized therapy) backed with a masters in biomedical sciences that specializes in drug discovery and development.

My experience in the pharmaceutical industry (6+ years) further complements the research expertise. At Zydus Lifesciences Ltd., I handled 505(b)(2) innovation forum projects focusing from designing to execution, and review of both clinical (BA/BE and CTs) and preclinical studies. This also included submission support to IND, NDA from the side of Bio-pharm and Clinical Development team. I was also associated with Cliniserve Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad as a part time Lead Auditor for the BABE and clinical studies.

Over a period of time, I specialized to work in the area of drug Interactions, herb-drug-disease interactions, drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK), integrative PK-PD/TK-TD modelling, analytical-bioanalytical method development, development of clinically simulated novel translational animal models and clinical trials, Up-gradation of laboratories & clinical setup to the level of NABL/GLP and GCP respectively focusing Ayurveda-based fundamental and integrative research.

Additionally, I am also associated with Elsevier (Outstanding Reviewer, Advisor), Frontiers in Pharmacology (Reviewer, Guest Editor), AuthorAid (Mentor), Livanity's Integrative Healthcare (OPC) Ptv. Ltd. (Consultant), Springer-Nature, Willey and Taylor & Francis (Reviewer).

So far, I have published 25 articles, 2 book chapters, 15+ oral/poster presentations at the national-international level and 2 patents and 2 trademarks, awards, medals to my credit. We are having various ongoing in-silico, in vitro, ex-vivo, pre-clinical, and clinical research projects in the area of non-communicable diseases (diabetes and associated morbidities, gastroenteropathy, cancer, alzheimer, and arthritis), and communicable disease (COVID-19 and HIV).

The exploratory special projects are- rejuvenation (Rasayana concept), AyuGenomics, Ayur-Pharmacometabolomics, Integrative Pharmacometrics, AIML based safety and efficacy prediction, Ayurvedic Biology, development of computational pipelines (herb-drug Interaction and network pharmacology).
