Editorial Manager - Journal of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine
Department of Health Sciences - Savitribai Phule Pune University
With a Bachelor's in Zoology and a Master’s in Health Sciences, I’m well versed with the comprehensive knowledge of immunology, molecular biology, and genetics along with skills such as clinical research, bioethics, epidemiology, biostatistics, and scientific writing. Alongside my academics, I was a summer intern at the National Chung Cheng University (Taiwan) and then further interned with CCIH for a year. During my academic years in college, I worked closely on a cross-sectional study to understand the sleep patterns in adult populations. In the long run, my research interests include studying something in the field of Neuroscience associated with sleep, mental health and well-being.
I help young researchers put their ideas and goals into writing and communicate science effectively in the easiest way possible. I believe that research that is communicated in a way that a common man can relate to, goes a long way. I was 21 when I first realized my passion for effective science communication. From joining the debate teams in school to writing letters to friends and family, to working in a field that allows me to put these skills to use in different ways, I have realized that effective communication is an integral part of every science institution.
On the days when I’m not working, you can find me reading, visiting museums, painting, rewatching famous Hollywood web series and meeting new people who offer a fresh perspective!
